House fire leaves adult, three children in critical condition

A house fire in Blair late Tuesday night left an adult and three children in critical condition.

It happened at the home of 36-year-old Jacalyn Hanson at 312 South Immell St. in Blair.

The arriving officer found Hanson outside of the home with several children, ages 4, 6, 7, and 8, still inside the residence, but was unable to enter the home due to the amount of smoke.

Fire Department personnel arrived and were able to locate four children inside the home and rescue them.

Hanson and three of the children were transported to Region’s Burn Center in St. Paul, Minnesota and are in critical condition.

The fourth child was treated and released.
