Holmen tops Sparta in another close MVC gymnastics meet

Sparta's Hemker takes All Around

In another tight points battle, Holmen gymnastics edged Sparta by less than two points to win the MVC meet Thursday night at Performance Elite Gymnastics in La Crosse.

Holmen scored 138.225 points for the victory, while Sparta took second with 136.850.

Sparta’s Ella Hemker won the All Around with a score of 36.125. She also won bars with a 9.125. Holmen’s Kamryn McNally finished second in the All Around with a total of 35.925, and she won the floor with a 9.65 and the vault with a 9.35. Sparta’s Savannah Clark won beam with a 9.2.
