Holmen Police Department hopes you’re in the giving mood to help “Fill the Cruiser”
HOLMEN, Wis. (WKBT) — The Holmen Police Department is still looking for your generosity this holiday season.
The Department is still accepting donations for its “Fill the Cruiser” program that helps brighten a child’s Christmas. The department is in need of new or unwrapped toys and cloths, gift cards and cash donations are also appreciated.
Program organizers say local schools pick families who are in the most need.
“We reach out to different councilors at the Holmen Area Schools because we feel they have a good pulse on their students and which students could use a helping hand. They nominate families from each of the elementary schools and the middle school of families who could use help at Christmas time,” said Holmen Police Department Investigator Crystal Sedevie.
The deadline for all donations is December 14. You can drops things off at the Holmen Police Department Monday through Friday from 8: a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
