Holmen man charged in sexual assault of relative

Facing charges of sexual assault, incest, exposing a child to harmful material

A Holmen man is being charged with sexual assault of his child relative.

Jerry Fishbaugher, 51, appeared in court on Tuesday and is facing charges of 1st degree sexual assault, incest, and exposing a child to harmful material.

On December 23rd a La Crosse Investigator was dispatched to Stepping Stones Child Advocacy Center to assist in a forensic interview of a child.

During the interview the child said he had been inappropriately touched by Fishbaugher on more than one occasion.

He also indicated he had been told to perform and receive oral sex.

The child also explained he was shown “how to make babies” as well as other naked pictures that were in the house.

Fishbaugher denied having sexual contact with the child or showing pornographic images.

Another relative said he has never seen the seven year old act out in a sexual manner, but stated when he was young Fishbaugher made inappropriate sexual comments to him, although never touched him.
