Holmen won 17-14

HOLMEN, Wis. (WKBT) – Student athletes from Holmen are facing off against some big competition.

Members of Holmen’s Adapted Sports League faced the Coulee Region Chill for some floor hockey this afternoon.

The adaptive sports league provides athletes the opportunity to compete with other teams in a variety of sports.

The players on both teams look forward to the game.

“Chill always help us out through the year,” said Ethan Nelson, Holmen High School senior.
“I know the guys have been looking forward to this. We have done this in the past, so it’s a good time for our kids to kind of interact,” said Coulee Region Chill head Coach Don Babineau.

Holmen won a close one, 17 to 14 was the final.
