Holmen Adaptive Sports League athletes compete against Coulee Region Chill

Student athletes faced off in a big game with a bigger purpose.

The School District of Holmen Adaptive Sports League athletes competed against the Coulee Region Chill in floor hockey Wednesday.

This is the 3rd year of the event which took place at Holmen High School.

The adaptive sports league provides athletes the opportunity to compete with other teams in a variety of sports.

“The Chill to them are like our local celebrities, they think it’s a really big deal, we have a couple of our kids that are huge fans of the team,” said Laura Kovacevich, Special Education Assistant with the Holmen School District.

Holmen won the back and forth contest in a shootout.
