Holiday Open House set for downtown La Crosse Friday
Several businesses will offer special deals and extended hours
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Businesses in La Crosse are getting ready to kick off the gift shopping season.
Downtown Mainstreet will host Holiday Open House Friday, when several businesses will offer special deals and extended hours.
The event is back after a one year pandemic pause.
If you’ve skipped shopping in person, you might be surprised by what you find.
“It gives you a chance to really maybe stop into a couple stores you haven’t been into before. We have over 15 new stores in town, through the governor’s ‘Bounce Back’ program. So a lot of people haven’t seen those stores yet,” said Downtown Mainstreet executive director Terry Bauer.
A tree lighting ceremony will take place at Grounded Patio Café at 6 p.m.
