285,358 doses of the vaccine have been administered in Wisconsin
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The COVID-19 vaccine rollout continues across Wisconsin.
285,358 doses of the vaccine have been administered state-wide so far, as of January 21st.
According to the DHS, 8,283 of those doses have been given in La Crosse County.
While the vaccine is here, local health leaders are asking community members to have patience.
“We are moving as rapidly as can, We also have to know that we don’t know until that week the number of vaccinations, or the number of vials of the doses that we receive. So it’s kind of this waiting and going game,” said Gundersen Health System vice president Lisa Wied.
Wednesday night, Gundersen Health System released invitations to get the vaccine to seven thousand patients.
