Haunted Mile to provide Halloween fun in La Crosse
Non-perishable food donations will be accepted during the event
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A reimagined event in La Crosse will bring some spooky fun to La Crosse’s Pettibone Park.
Happening Saturday, the ‘Pettibone Haunted Mile’ will bring Halloween fun to the park near La Crosse’s downtown.
The event is a joint effort of the Onalaska Jaycees and the City of La Crosse Parks and Rec Department.
The drive through only event comes in place of the Field of Screams and Onalaska Jaycees’ Haunted House.
From five until seven, the there will be light scares and the event turns up the fright factor from seven until nine.
Donations of non-perishable food items are being accepted during the event.
That food will be donated to local food pantries.

Traffic delays are expected along the Cass Street bridge, up the South Pettibone Drive, where community members can enter the haunted mile.
Drivers asked to plan ahead and following signage and traffic control efforts as they come into the area.
