Habitat for Humanity in Winona to celebrate new building
Winona, Minn. (WKBT) — A new habitat is coming for a Winona organization.
Habitat for Humanity of Winona and Fillmore Counties will host a grand-opening celebration Wednesday for their new offices.
Winona’s ReStore was the first opened in the state of Minnesota in 2003.
While the current building provides opportunity, the new building will do more.
“We will have a community education workshop where we can teach home maintenance repair education to people who want to improve their skills,” said Amanda Hedlund, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Winona-Fillmore Counties.
The new offices are located at 126 North Baker Street in Winona.
Public is invited to tour Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m.
