Gymnasts help raise money for Veterans at fundraising meet

LA CROSSE (WKBT) – Area gymnasts got to show off their skills for veterans.

From flips to cartwheels to walkovers, three teams got to show off their skills in a meet at Performance Elite Gymnastics.

Money raised from the competition will help support the American Legion.

Performance Elite’s owner says it is all about showing community support for our area vets.

“We just want to do whatever we can to support them in any way that we can,” said Performance Elite Gymnastic owner Amanda Ross, “And show our support to the community as well.”

Nearly 400 gymnasts competed throughout the weekend.

The money raised from the meet will go specifically to the American Legions in Onalaska, Houston, and Red Wing.
