Gundersen to offer Pfizer COVID boosters for 5- to 11-year-olds


LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Gundersen Health System will offer Pfizer booster vaccines for children age 5-11 beginning Wednesday.

Parents or guardians can schedule an appointment on MyChart or by calling (608) 775-6829. Patients and non-patients are welcome at Gundersen for initial vaccinations and boosters. 

 COVID vaccine is also available at the following locations: 

  • Onalaska Clinic (Level 4): Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm (limited walk-ins after 3 pm)
  • La Crosse ExpressCare Clinic (Village Shopping Center): Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6:30 pm; Saturday 8 am to 4:30 pm; Sunday 9 am to 3:30 pm.  

Gundersen will also host a vaccine event for kids 5 to 11 years old June 11 at their Onalaska clinic from 8 am to noon.

As a reminder, Gundersen says it offers a fourth dose of COVID booster for patients and non-patients 50 years or older.
