Grow Solar La Crosse extend program deadline to Oct. 30
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A group purchasing program for residential and small-scale solar has extended its deadline to Oct. 30 to allow more people the chance to take part.
The program, offered by both the city and county of La Crosse, as well as the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, gives homeowners throughout La Crosse County the ability to pool their buying power and secure discounts to make installing solar panels more affordable.
The program will offer a free virtual hour-long session to share information 4-5 p.m. Oct. 6 called the Solar Power Hour. It will tell people about the basics of solar, how it can save money and how the group-buy program works.
There is also an opportunity for a free, no-obligation site assessment from Solar Connection.
Those who can’t make the virtual event can learn more at growsolar.org/lacrosse.
