Great Rivers United Way’s Bucks for Books to boost reading tutor effort

ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) — Great Rivers United Way is kicking off its Bucks for Book fundraiser.

The effort, which has a $5,000 goal, will help provide books for GRUW’s “Read to Success” tutor program.

“This fundraiser is going to allow us to purchase books to be embedded into that curriculum to help them learn throughout the entire year,” said Katie Sparks, the agency’s development director.
