Great Rivers United Way in final days of annual campaign
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) — A fundraising campaign in our area is short of its annual goal.
The Great Rivers United Way’s annual campaign wraps up Thursday.
The United Way needs more than 2- million dollars to fulfill the requests made by programs that they help.
The Great Rivers United Way’s executive director says they are hoping the community will help them reach their goal.
“Whether it’s coordinating very important programs out in the community to work together, to row in the same direction, whether it’s that or whether it’s going to the community and use their dollars in the best investment possible and we can only do that if we all come together to make that happen,” said Mary Kay Wolf, Executive Director for the Great Rivers United Way.
The organization is scheduled to host a fundraiser Wednesday at Cool Beans Coffee Shop on La Crosse Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Donations can be made to the Great Rivers United Way’s annual campaign at greatriversunitedway.org.
