Gov. Scott Walker leads La Crosse GOP Straw Poll

The straw poll was conducted by the La Crosse County Republican Party

A new GOP straw poll in La Crosse puts Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker in the lead of potential 2016 presidential candidates

The poll, conducted by the La Crosse County Republican Party, found Walker led the poll with 22 percent.

Walker is followed by Marco Rubio with 17 percent and Rand Paul isn’t far behind with 16 percent.

The poll was taken at the Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Dinner.     

La Crosse will host the 2015 Republican Party of Wisconsin convention at the La Crosse Center May 15-17.

Walker has not announced he is running for president.
