Godlewski makes stop in La Crosse on campaign trail
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Wisconsin Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Sarah Godlewski made a campaign stop in La Crosse today.
Godlewski and 11 other democrats are running for the seat currently held by Republican Ron Johnson.
She’s no stranger to public office.
In 2018, she was elected Wisconsin State Treasurer.
Godlewski says if elected, she will fight for the things that matter to the people of Wisconsin.
“I’m talking about childcare, I’m talking about paid family leave, I’m talking about supporting small businesses and what we need to do with our farmers, and addressing the PFAs issue for water quality,” said Godlewski.
She also says she wants to reduce prescription drug costs.
