Go Riteway prepares for upcoming school year
Go Riteway following guidance for La Crosse County Health Department, CDC and local districts
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The school year will be here soon and districts are still preparing to welcome students back into classrooms.
Go Riteway held a hiring event today for drivers for the upcoming school year.
Leaders with the bus company say they are relying on guidance from the La Crosse County Health Department, CDC and the districts they serve as they prepare for the year.
“Right now, they’re mulling through and figuring out what it is that we’re going to be doing to keep the bus safe, keep the driver safe, keep the students safe,” said GoRiteway senior manager of terminal operations John Lochner.
Student’s won’t need a bus to classes right away in La Crosse.
The School District of La Crosse announced last week it will start online for at least the first 30 days of the school year.
