Galesville family takes advantage of cooler temps and makes snow
GALESVILLE, Wis. (WKBT) — A family in Galesville took advantage of the colder temperatures this weekend and made snow in their backyard.
With temperatures in the mid-20s, Jesse Brandsoy and his family decided to start their snowboarding season a little early this year.
Brandsoy has a small snowboarding park in his yard and this weekend it was cold enough for his family to make snow and use it.
“This has been the earliest we’ve ever been able to. Previous to this, the earliest we had was Oct. 31 and that was 4 years ago, but this is by far the earliest I have been on the snowboard,” said Brandsoy.
This is the sixth year the Brandsoy family has been taking advantage of the cold temps to make snow for snowboarding.
