G-E-T School District to remain in virtual education through end of year
Earliest return to in-person learning will be January 4th
GALESVILLE, Wis. (WKBT) – The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau School District will remain virtual through at least the beginning of the new year.
The District made the announcement on Wednesday.
In a letter to parents, District Administrator Michele Butler said the district would return to in-person learning on January 4th at the earliest.
A letter to parent by Butler reads in part, “I realize that this is discouraging news and that prolonging the virtual learning platform is very inconvenient for many families.
Please know that this decision was not made lightly and that the G-E-T School District will transition back to in-person learning as soon as we can safely and effectively do so.
In the weeks to come, we will continue to carefully assess the situation and keep you informed of any changes.”
