Front Porch Project featured in upcoming Coulee Parenting Connection
The project features pictures and stories of families and the hardships they may be experiencing because of the pandemic
LA CROSSE, Wis (WKBT) – The Coulee Parenting Connection is releasing a special edition of their magazine called COVID and our Community.
As a part of the special edition, the magazine adapted a series from the local non-profit P.S I Love You Inc. and featured The Front Porch Project.
The project features pictures and stories of families and the hardships they may be experiencing because of the pandemic.
Some people choose to forget the difficulties in life, while others choose to document it.
“Really we all have our own stories we want to share, and that’s what PS. I love you was all about. It’s sharing your story, and it may not always be rainbows and butterflies, there are hard times in life,” said Sarah Petersen, the owner and photographer of P.S. I Love You Inc.
They’ll be at the 2200 block of Ferry Street on Wednesday from 5-7 PM, as well as the Holmen Food Truck Friday from 11 AM to 3 PM.
The magazines will be sold for $6 each, with the proceeds going towards the Children’s Museum, Boys and Girls Club, GROW, Valley View Rotary, ORA trails, and 2nd Chance to Shine.
Other dates are still to be determined, but anyone interested can check their Facebook page.
