TOMAH, Wis (WKBT) – A Wisconsin native has made his way to one of the biggest stages.

Aaron Scott is a teacher at Tomah Middle School, but he also on to the next round in NBC’s hit TV show ‘The Voice.’

Scott made his debut on the show a few weeks ago performing Hemorrhage (In My Hands) by the band Fuel.

Before getting a minute into the song, Blake Shelton and John Legend both turned their chairs.

“You’re bringing your best, your A-game every time. You gotta prove you.re ready for that blind audition and when it comes you just gotta take full advantage of it. Here I am, lucky enough, blessed enough to have the opportunity to try and get that response,” said Scott.

Scott chose country Star Blake Shelton as his coach.

With the blind auditions over, the first round of the competition begins Monday.
