Friends of of Vernon County Parks sets music series

VIROQUA, Wis. (WKBT) — The Friends of Vernon County Parks and Forests will present Music in the Parks — a physically distanced safe outdoor music series — from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Aug. 12.
The series, which is open to people of all ages, will take place at either Sidie Hollow or Esofea County Park, depending on the week. The group invites festival-goers to bring their own lawn chairs and drinks and picnic during the performances.
Physical distancing will be required, and masks are highly encouraged.
Free-will donations will be accepted and go directly to support the musicians
The series lineup and locations are:
• Aug. 12 at Sidie Hollow Main Shelter – High & Rising with Tim Eddy.
• Aug. 19 at Esofea County Park – The Iowans.
• Aug. 26 at Sidie Hollow – Lou Shields.
• Sept. 2 at Esofea – Jay Hoffman and Friends.
