LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A free interactive webinar at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 2, will provide one-on-one consulting support for Coulee Region small businesses to help them more effectively develop a business and financial strategy in response to COVID-19.
The webinar, “COVID-19: Supporting Small Business – Business Strategies and Financial Relief,” will repeat at various days and times through Thursday, April 9.
“There is a lot of information available to business owners regarding COVID-19 and its impact,” said Anne Hlavacka, director of the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. “Many business owners need help to identify their strategy to move forward and access the financial and other resources they need to position their business in these challenging times.”
The webinar is a joint project of the SBDC and the La Crosse Area Development Corp. Participants should sign up for only one session because the content of each will be the same, and capacity is limited.
The workshop will help small business owners develop strategies to address business and financial challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. It also will address various forms of financial relief available to small businesses.
Participants will be able to use the SBDC’s free consulting services. LADCO also will be available to help small businesses connect with state, county and municipal staff and resources.
“The resources are out there, and we seek to help businesses understand how to maximize the impact of these programs, said LADCO Executive Director Jorge Beltran.
Although the webinar and consulting support are free, registration is required. To register or for more information, go to the classes section of the SBDC website or email
