Free Oktoberfest passes available for military members
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Military veterans have an easy way to join in on a long-time La Crosse tradition.
Free admission will again be offered to Oktoberfest for both active duty and veteran military members.
The specially-designed passes are being made available though a partnership with Logistics Health.
More than one- thousand military passes were collected last year, making it an easy decision to bring them back.
“Our veterans have given us quite a bit of freedom and it’s just an easy way for us to pay them back,” said Terry Zalewski, Oktoberfest Board President.
There are a limited number of military tickets available at the Oktoberfest offices in La Crosse.
Oktoberfest’s 58th celebration runs September 27th through the 30th.
