Four come forward to accuse Cashton man of child sexual assault
SPARTA, Wis. (WKBT) — Four additional victims have come forward after a Cashton man was charged with multiple offenses of raping a child, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.
Jerome Leuck, 74, was arrested Oct. 14 and charged with 12 child sexual assault felonies, including two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child.
The charges stem from incidents that occurred as far back as 2011.
He was released from the Monroe County Jail Oct. 15 after posting a $1,000 cash bond.
Since his arrest, the sheriff’s office has heard from four more victims, who told investigators they were also sexually assaulted by Leuck while they were children.
The sheriff’s office is continuing its investigation and takes these allegations very seriously, according to the department statement.
Leuck was employed as a bus driver in the Cashton School District from 1968 to 2012. He returned to the district as a part-time van driver 2014. He is no longer employed by the school district.
