Fort McCoy to host first Armed Forces Day Open House since before pandemic

FORT McCOY, Wis. (WKBT) — Fort McCoy will host its first Armed Forces Day Open House since 2019, after a pandemic pause.
The free, public event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Commemorative Area, which features the History Center, five World War II-era buildings filled with historical equipment and displays, the outdoor Equipment Park and Veterans Memorial Plaza.
Adults must be prepared to present IDs upon entering the installation, according to a Fort McCoy news release.
