Fort Atkinson woman buys $1M scratch-off ticket with previous winnings
MADISON, Wis. — A Fort Atkinson woman won $1 million on a scratch ticket that she bought with previous winnings from other scratch tickets, according to a release.
Karen Perdue said she had been on a lucky streak with scratch tickets before using previous winnings to buy an Ultimate Millions ticket.
She bought the $1 million ticket at the Kwik Trip at 102 Collins Road in Jefferson, officials said. Kwik Trip earns a 2 percent retailer incentive of the total prize, which is $20,000.
There are three $1 million grand prizes in the Ultimate Millions scratch game, and there is still one of those tickets available, according to the release. Each ticket costs $30.
The first Ultimate Millions grand prize was claimed by an Eau Claire woman.
