Former Winona High School janitor arrested on child pornography charges
WINONA, Minn. (WKBT) — A former Winona Senior High School janitor was arrested Tuesday in a child pornography sting, according to the Winona County Sheriff’s Department.
Local authorities were notified of the alleged crime by the Internet Crimes Against Children organization.
Following the execution of a search warrant, child pornography was found on electronic devices at the home of Todd Anthony Schwanke, 56, of West 4th Street in Winona.
After his arrest on September 25, Schwanke resigned from the school district and currently is out on bond.
Schwanke is charged with Felony Possession of Child Pornography and Dissemination of Child Pornography.
