UW-La Crosse football has named Bryan Whitehead the program’s newest defensive coordinator, according to the university’s website.
Whitehead spent the last two years with FCS program Wofford in South Carolina, where he was a defensive backs assistant. Wofford won its conference championship each of the last two years.
Before Wofford, Whitehead was defensive backs coach at UW-Platteville in 2016-17. Whitehead also played for the Pioneers from 2012-2014 as a wide receiver and defensive back.
