Former Packer visits GET High School to talk about bullying
Gilbert Brown: I would like to help other kids in the process
GALESVILLE, Wis. (WKBT) — A former Green Bay Packer star continues his work on anti-bullying.
October is Bullying Prevention Month, which brought Gilbert Brown to GET High School Monday to talk to students about bullying.
He spoke about being compassionate, avoiding telling hurtful jokes, and not hiding behind a computer and saying mean things on social media.
“It’s very important because I got kids. I don’t want to see anything happen to mine. And I would like to help other kids in that process as well. And it ain’t like I’m just worried about mine, I’m worried about theirs too,” said former Packer Gilbert Brown.
Brown also spoke at Sparta High School Monday night.
