Former La Crescent-Hokah baseball coach Rick Boyer dies
(WKBT)-Former La Crescent-Hokah Baseball Coach Rick Boyer has died.
According a source close to Rick, the longtime coach had recently gone through a heart surgery, but seemed to be recovering and was active in the community. It is unknown at this time if heart conditions were the cause of his death.
Boyer had spent 17 years with Lancer baseball, with his last scheduled season cancelled due to COVID-19. He was also active with local baseball teams and spent time with the La Crosse Loggers.
