‘Forest Play Shoppe’ gives kids a chance to explore and learn while outdoors

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Parents in our area have a new way to help their kids play and learn.

The ‘Forest Play Shoppe’ events help parents give their kids the chance to explore and learn while outdoors.

The series will be hosted Mondays in Onalaska as well as Wednesdays and Thursdays in La Crosse.

In a time when many are staying physically distant learning how to socially interact is still an important skill for kids.

“Start interacting with other children, start using those social skills. Learning how to take turns. Learning how to communicate effectively,” said Michael Scott, The Parenting Place parent educator.

Information about the Forest Play Shoppe events is available on The Parenting Place’s Facebook page.
