Ford Mustangs in the Wisconsin Wild
Annual Mustang Run raises money for Children's Miracle Network
WINONA, Minn. (WKBT) — Mustang enthusiasts took over the roads in Winona today all for a good cause.
More than 150 Ford Mustangs participated in the 15th annual Mustang Run. The event was hosted by Sugar Loaf Ford.
After making a $20 donation to the Children’s Miracle Network the Mustang drivers went on an 80 mile drive through Wisconsin, enjoying the beautiful scenery.
It gives locals the chance to take advantage of a hobby they love, while helping local kids.
“You know, it’s awesome to see people come together and it’s such a mutually beneficial thing. They’re coming here, they’re doing what they love, and they love helping kids,” said Children’s Miracle Network Program Specialist Ashley Zibrowski.
Organizers say the event raised over $3,000.
