Ford enthusiasts in our region gathered for a good cause
Winona, Min. (WKBT) — Sugar Loaf Ford Lincoln in Winona hosted the 19th annual Children’s Miracle Network ‘Mustang Gallop’ Sunday.
Anyone with a Mustang is invited to take part in the event each year, where people can come and donate money to CMN.
Proceeds from the event will go to help kids in the region like Dawson Shultz. Dawson is one of CMN’s Hospital Heroes for the 2018 and 2019. He recently received a pump for his type 1 diabetes and also got another wish granted on Sunday.
“He has just a big fondness for Fords, and so he got his little wish granted today to sit in his very favorite Mustang; and he got to sit in a really nice blue one,” said Rena Cash, Children’s Miracle Network’s program specialist.
155 Mustangs were at the event today.
CMN says they helped more than 5,000 children in the region with special healthcare needs last year.
