Food Trucks benefit Great Rivers United Way
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Area food trucks are teaming up for a good cause.
Five area food trucks were in downtown La Crosse Thursday to support the United Way’s annual campaign.
The event is held near Logistics Health Incorporated.
Now in its second year, each of the trucks donated part of their profits from the two hour event.
Great River United Way’s Executive Director says it is great to see so much energy.
“I mean this is just an example of a fun way to bring people out, raise money for our community and do it together, that’s what it’s all about is community coming together to raise funds to help others,” said Mary Kay Wolf, Executive Director of Great Rivers United Way.
The Great River United Way supports 75 programs in our area.
