Folks celebrate leisure at La Crosse Summer Days
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — La Crosse Summer Days is under way.
On Saturday, folks enjoyed food from Taco Broz food truck, visited with therapy dogs, and rocked out to tunes from Night Cap and Erik Jorgenson.
Terry Bauer, executive director of Downtown Mainstreet says these events bring more patrons to the area.
“It just attracts another category of people who may not come downtown but they might want to come here when Night Cap plays, so they make a point to come downtown,” he said.
The celebration also includes discounts up to 40 percent off at businesses including Genie’s Rock Shop and The Antique Center of La Crosse.
If you missed out on the festivities, don’t fret because La Crosse Summer Days will return next year.
