Flags are being flown at half-staff for Justice Ginsburg

In addition to a presidential proclamation, Minnesota Governor Walz ordered all flags to be lowered until her internment

LA CRESCENT, Minn (WKBT) – Flags are being flown across the U.S. at half-staff in honor of  late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

In addition to a presidential proclamation, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz ordered all flags to be lowered until her internment.

Walz also ordered all flags at state or federal buildings to be flown at half-staff in honor of the lives lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

That will happen on the 19th of each month through the end of 2020.

Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are also encouraged to join in lowering their flags.
