LA CRESCENT, Minn (WKBT) – Flags are being flown across the U.S. at half-staff in honor of late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
In addition to a presidential proclamation, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz ordered all flags to be lowered until her internment.
Walz also ordered all flags at state or federal buildings to be flown at half-staff in honor of the lives lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
That will happen on the 19th of each month through the end of 2020.
Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are also encouraged to join in lowering their flags.
