Fitness center looks to break ground by end of September
Center will house a Snap Fitness
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A new fitness and wellness center in La Crosse hopes to break ground by the end of September.
The group met with the city’s design committee Friday to make sure their final plans were in compliance with city regulations. The 33,000 square foot complex on Hwy 16 just south of Famous Dave’s will be home to a snap fitness franchise., a turf training area, a synthetic ice rink, and a basketball court. The center will also offer services like daycare, a chiropractor, an athletic trainer, and a bistro, just to name a few.
The total project will cost about $3.4 million dollars. The owner hopes to be open by this spring.
