First annual Easter Egg Hunt… for dogs!
For the hunt, dogs and their owners searched for eggs filled with tasty treats and fun prizes
LA CROSSE, Wis (WKBT) – While you have fun this Easter weekend maybe doing an Easter Egg Hunt, even your pets may enjoy doing the same thing.
A company known as Wuffy held an Easter Egg Hunt for dogs Saturday at Myrick Park.
Wuffy creates handmade dog treats, which are gluten and dairy-free.
For the hunt, dogs and their owners searched for eggs filled with tasty treats and fun prizes.
The event brings dog lovers and owners together to form a sense of community fun in a creative way.
“It seems like there’s a lot of people having a good time. Socializing with each other, letting the dogs socialize with one another. And it’s an absolutely gorgeous day, so we’re just really happy to have this all work out and bring everybody together in a safe outdoor way,” said Jaclyn Cardin, founder and owner of Wuffy.
They hope to continue hosting events throughout the summer called Doggie Dog Days, which will continue through the fall.
