FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Plenty of sun in store! -Erik Dean

Patchy fog is not out of the question this morning.

DISCUSSION: After a soggy weekend, and a nice start to the work week, the nice stretch continues today as well. Highs will be much like yesterday, which was in the upper 70s – low 80s. (That was unless you were in the eastern part of the viewing area, where some places didn’t even see 60s!) Overall sunny skies will be the rule today, but some patchy fog cannot be ruled out as our temperature and dew point will be close together. As we roll into the 2nd half of the work week, I am keeping an eye on another system starting Thursday Night in some places, Friday for others. The rain and thunderstorm chances will continue into the weekend. The good news is, we are seeing water. The bad news is, we are still over 3″ below normal for the year. At this point, we’ll take what we can get.
