Fireworks with permit only allowed in Town of Campbell

Waterloo City Council rejects proposal to limit fireworks

TOWN OF CAMPBELL, Wis. (WKBT) – Fireworks will be allowed with a permit in the Town of Campbell on July 3 and 4.

According to a notice from town officials, fireworks will be permitted from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. both days and the person lighting the fireworks must be 18 years of age or older and sober.

Permits are free and may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s office at 2219 Bainbridge Street today until 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Clerk’s office will be closed on Friday in observance of the 4th of July holiday.

A permit is not required for anything that does not leave the ground.

According to the notice, the Town of Campbell has the right to cancel any and all firework permits at any time to maintain the safety of the Town and its residents.
