Final ‘Moon Tunes’ of 2019 Saturday night in La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The final Moon Tunes performance of 2019 will take place this Saturday.
The concert series wraps up their 2019 performance schedule with the 50th Anniversary Woodstock Tribute.
Music lovers have been lucky this year, as no concerts have been canceled due to rain or other weather.
Saturday’s show will start with a city ceremony to dedicate the new Band Shell, and wrap up with fireworks.
Changing from Thursdays helps organizers pack more fun into the day.
“The Thursday nights, we just couldn’t get enough of the show in on a single night and some people come at five, and then they start leaving and some people come late, so they miss a lot of the great acts,” said Terry Bauer, Band Shell Consortium co-chair.
Music will start Saturday at 2 in the afternoon, down at Riverside Park.
