Fill the Food Basket drive supports Salvation Army of La Crosse County
Drives will be held Tuesdays and Friday during the rest of November
HOLMEN, Wis. (WKBT) – Your donations can help fill food baskets for the holiday season during the ‘Fill the Food Basket’ effort.
The Salvation Army of La Crosse County and financial services organization Thrivent are partnering for the drive.
The food drive started Tuesday and will continue on Tuesdays and Fridays for the rest of this month at locations throughout our area.
The goal of the drive is to fill 500 food baskets that will be given to families that sign up for the Salvation Army’s ‘Angel Giving Tree’.
“Everybody is supporting one another and I think that’s the most important part of this whole event is we are a community and we’re all in this together,” said Thrivent Financial financial advisor Todd Trautmann.
Details on donation spots is available on the Salvation Army of La Crosse County’s website.
