Kickapoo Valley Reserve Winter Festival

Kickapoo Valley Reserve Winter Festival celebrates 20 years of offering family-focused fun winter activities with this year’s anniversary event.
Friday’s kickoff activities start at 6:00 pm in the Village of La Farge with a Frozen Lights Parade, Christmas tree bonfire, ice skating, live entertainment, and food.
Saturday activities include sledding, skiing, archery, snow sculpture, ice cave hikes, chain saw carving, live raptor presentations, cougar and bears talks, face painting, horse-drawn bobsled rides, and a fun mutt run.
There will also be the Tri-state Malamute Club Sled Dog Race and weight pull, snow mountain & snow tunnel, Ho-Chunk Snow Snake Competition, Fat Tire Bike Demonstrations and more.
La Farge Lions Club hosts their annual chili and bread contest for the public.
Our neighbors at Wildcat Mountain State Park will hold a candlelight ski/hike/snowshoe. winter picnic and winter star gazing that night.
