LA CROSSE CO., Wis. (WKBT) – It’s a long night of running at the 24-hour Goosebumps Run Walk.
The run started Friday afternoon at Goose Island County Park.
The 10th annual event raises money for the the Local Lupus Alliance.
Organizers say the finish line doesn’t come after a set number of miles.
“Lupus is a disease a lot of people don’t know about. We’ve got a lot of signage throughout the course that talks about lupus. Talks about the Local Lupus Alliance,” said Goosebumps Run committee member.
The event also includes a six-hour edition of the race on Saturday.
