UPDATE: 13-year-old Dodgeville youth found safe
Boy was found around 8:30 p.m. inside a Dodgeville residence, police say
DODGEVILLE, Wis. (WKBT) — Iowa County Emergency Management reports a 13-year-old boy who was reported missing has been found safe. He had been missing for about 19 hours. Emery Foust was found around 8:30 p.m. inside of a Dodgeville residence, police said.
PREVIOUS STORY – The Dodgeville Police Department has issued an endangered missing persons alert for Emery C. Foust, a 13-year-old Dodgeville youth last seen at 1:40 a.m. Thursday.
Police were notified at 1:26 a.m. that Emery had run away from home.
Emery, who is 5-feet-2 and weighs 170 pounds, has blue eyes and short blond hair. He was wearing a blue jean jacket, cowboy boots, black jeans and a black undershirt.
Emery functions at a lower cognitive level than his age would indicate, police said.
Emery was believed to be observed on city surveillance cameras at 1:40 a.m. at North Main Street and West Spring Street. He has not been sighted since then, police said.
This alert is being broadcast statewide because of Emery’s cognitive level and the length of time he has been missing.
