Elvis Explosion enlivens the La Crosse Center
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Elvis tribute artists revived Viva Las Vegas in La Crosse Saturday.
The 21 st annual Elvis Explosion brought the legacy of the Rock and Roll legend to the La Crosse Center.
There is one Elvis show left this weekend before the Elvis tribute artists leave the building. The Elvis tribute artist competition finals are Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
“These ‘ETA’s — these Elvis tribute artists — they come in from all over the world. Once again, we got a guy coming in from the Netherlands, coming in for that first place,” said Ronny Craig, the event’s organizer.
The event also included Karaoke Parties and Mississippi Cruises. There will be a gospel show at 10:00 a.m. Sunday that benefits the La Crosse Hunger Task Force.
