Dynamic Recycling partners with Festival Food’s to feed the hungry

One local organization was out helping to feed the hungry Sunday. Dynamic Recycling partnered with The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse for a food drive to feed those in need in the community. The drive was held at Festival Food’s in Onalaska Sunday afternoon.

Shoppers could donate anything from canned goods to toiletries and laundry detergents.

Organizers at Dynamic Recycling said they like to take advantage of any chance they get to give back to the community.

“We’ve partnered with Gundersen Lutheran through the Children’s Miracle Network Program to really help and give back to the children and the families in our communities, or by working with the Boy Scouts of La Crosse helping them earn badges the projects that their working on that also go toward helping our community,” said Dynamic Recycling executive assistant Kassie Praska.

The food drive was part of Festival Food’s “Food For Neighbors” program to help support to members of the community.
