Duluth Trading Co. to fill empty storefront in La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — It didn’t take long for an empty storefront in downtown La Crosse to be filled.
The clothing store, Duluth Trading company, is moving into the on fourth street in downtown.
The company will take over the first floor of the building which was previously home to Three Rivers outdoors. The store closed back in November.
The executive director for Downtown Main Street Inc. says the impact of the new store will go far beyond the Doerflinger building.
“When you have over 10,000 square-feet of retail space, in the retail market, it’s going to strengthen other retail stores. People will come here to check out Duluth Trading Company and they will spill over into our other retail stores our cafe’s and our restaurants,” said Robin Moses.
The new store will open sometime in late spring or early summer.
